#frugalfashionista: pretty n petite pretentious professionals

I’ve had a thing for banana republic lately, and even more so bc they have a very convenient petite section for a very petite me. I’ve probably stopped in the store more than once every two weeks the past month or more and if I’m not it the store I’m browsing on my phone. They’ve really upped their trend game for women lately (I’ve felt there menswear has Always looked good) and I’m loving what I’m seeing and buying for that matter.

Plus they’ve been having great sales lately!

#frugalfashionista: Mary, queen of (new) England

I love “hippie” headbands and have become even more so obsessed with these Grecian style leaf headbands as of late. There’s varieties out there but so far this one that wraps around from the back is my favorite. It doesn’t help that my latest netflix obsession is with the TV show reign. In the show Queen Mary Stuart has a new gold crown head band everyday! I’m obsessed with not only her crowns but her immaculate costume collection! My name is after all Mary, I do live in New England….I can be a queen too if I so desire.

#frugalfashionista: target trends

While I’ve had my head set on black white gold for my new living room I’ve taken a plunge into black white silver for my bedroom. I was picking up a white comforter from target and came across this silver candle in a clearance end cap too! What a sweet deal to accent my room. Maybe you’ll find a sweet one too?

Happy trend hunting readers!

#frugalfashionista: thrifted treasures

Thrifting on a New England Sunday. My sister and dad came to visit me in boston during this long Columbus Day weekend and we made a trip to the thrift store to start out our Sunday.

My finds:

I fell absolutely in love with the charms on this necklace. It perfectly reflects my love for travel. Picking it up was a no brainer!

This was what really made my heart jump in excitement. It was a collection of Emily, Anne and Charlotte Bronte books. They were editions from 1922! I have a large place in my heart for classic novels and period films, so this was a heart warming find!

I also found two pics of furniture for my living room. Those I will share In a later post once they’ve been restored.

Today was a successful hunt.
